I decided to take a break from uni for almost the whole year and now I will have to complete courses for 2 years in 1 year basically. Most of them are pretty easy to me, but I have no understanding nor knowledge of math and physics. So before I stopped drinking 4 days ago I regularly darnk 12 or more beers a day, often +15, often with additional cocktails, shots ect.
I've been sober 4 days now and haven't really left the house other then to get food.
I haven't exorsized (aside from walking to my car and into and out of resutants) but I FEEL
and look somewhat noticably less fat then I felt 4 days ago.
Nothing radical mind you just enought that i can tell a difference really.
Was curious if this is just a reduction of what people call "bloating" and also if anyone could estimate (bloating included) how much weight i may have lost over the last 4 days?
I understand everyones genes are different and what not ect but I dont have scales in my house and just wondered if any scientist/doctor/math wiz could give me a rough estimate.
I dont currently regulary se a doctor but last time i did (well into my alchohol abuse) i was 5'9 and a half and over 350 lbs if that helps

Are there any trainable cognitive skills that have transfer effects?
Years ago there was hype around Dual n-back improving working memory and perhaps IQ but that doesn't seem to have panned out.
People always used to say learning an instrument, but that might honestly just be confounded with se status.

Afaik meditation might improve working memory by way of focus, and spaced repetition is the answer to optimizing long-term memory.

Can you get better at spatial tasks though, and would it be narrowly confined to training a certain skill like mental rotation or are there other indirect benefits?
